Areas of Interest

Dr. Grow graduated with honors in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens where she was a member of several academic honor societies. She received her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, and served as class president.

Dr. Grow completed her residency in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, and served as chief medical resident. She then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Emory, serving as chief fellow. During that time, she was awarded a grant to publish the GIzette Newsletter for the medical school’s Division of Digestive Diseases, and received the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She served as a clinical skills instructor during both her residency and fellowship.

Prior to joining Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2009, Dr. Grow was an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Digestive Diseases at Emory University. She has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including The Lancet and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

In 2015, Dr. Grow and Gastroenterology Associates of Athens became affiliated with Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates.
